Carta de Peter Karmanos Jr. parte 897536569

To our great fans:

July 22 was a pivotal day for the National Hockey League as the Board of Governors ratified a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with the players. This new deal stabilizes the entire league, creating a true partnership with our players that will allow the game to grow to new heights. It is very exciting to know that the Carolina Hurricanes can now move forward and compete on a level playing field with the NHL's other 29 teams. We were also fortunate to secure the third overall pick in this year's Entry Draft by way of the Lottery, and we look forward to adding another good young player to our team at the Draft next week in Ottawa.

The NHL is returning to the RBC Center with new rules on the ice - rules that will make our sport even more exciting to watch. These new rules will put the emphasis on offense, allowing our skill players to do what they do best.

I would like to thank you, our partners and fans, for your patience and understanding during the necessary time it took to reach this new agreement. I hope that you join me in welcoming back the excitement the NHL and games at the RBC Center bring.

Sincerely,

Peter Karmanos, Jr.
